Each of us has times when we intuitively feel that our lives will be taking a turn ... that a change is coming. When we feel that first prompting, it can be a little frightening. Most of us take a few moments to ponder the challenges that may lie ahead. This sculpture captures that moment. She sits contemplating the future ... not knowing exactly what challenges will be sent her way or how difficult they may be ... but feeling the winds of change gently starting to blow. It has not become the gale of the full-blown storm yet. It is only the beginning ... that quiet moment when we wonder if we will have the courage to face the challenges that lay ahead. There is nothing more predictable than change in our lives. Change is a true constant. Without it, we would not be refined. In the big picture, change is a gift ... though usually not a comfortable process.
