Midnight sits on a silver-leafed pedestal. Her dress is hand-made, hand-painted paper. It has tiny gold and silver moons and stars painted between the flowing, colored areas. Her garland is very intricate. Each tiny flower and leaf was first formed with very thin wire. Then each petal was filled with white glue. They were individually painted before they were put together to form each flower or leaf combination. The screen is covered with paper and then real dried, pressed flowers were added to give interest and depth. The candy box has a tiny, 21K gold-leafed Cupid in the center.
