This piece means a great deal to me. It was the first piece, after losing my son, that I sculpted that was smiling. I painted the fabric she wore in rainbow colors on purpose, to show that after trial and rain the sun shines once again. Finding joy again after difficult trials is such a blessing. The feeling is incredible ... and I wanted to show how I felt. I let Amailya do it for me.
